Bio/Artist Statement

 
John W Stinson is a self taught painter and printmaker living in Seattle, Washington. His paintings, monotypes and intaglio prints feature the landscape of the Northwest. His art work can be found throughout the U.S. in private and corporate collections.

Statement: "As a painter of the rural landscape of the Northwest, I paint what resonates in me; the farms, fields, rivers, deltas, marshes, forests, valleys, foothills and mountains. My goal in every painting is to present the landscape so it too will resonate in the viewer."
