John W. Stinson is a self taught artist. His art studio is situated in an old hayfield in the Madison River Valley in SW Montana. His paintings, monotypes and intaglio prints feature the landscape of Montana and the Pacific Northwest.
"To set the record straight, the paintings I create are composed of truth, half truth, innuendo and out and out lies. The percentage of those ingredients vary as to my moods, the needs of the subject matter and all the other unfathomable things floating around the ether that influence our lives." JWS
